About

I was born and bred in Rome, where I studied law only to realize that I am a better person when not wearing a suit. I left the big city to feel the wind in my hair on the peaks of the Alps and soon discoverd that my passion for the outdoors, and writing about it, could become my trade.

Now I work as a writer, editor and a content creator for a number of magazines and companies relating to the outdoors, and when I’m done working for the day I open the door of my cabin to ski or run or climb or do other pleasant activities, be it playing fetch with my dog, foraging for mushrooms, or both together.

I’m the curious sort, always with one eye on (and one foot in) the great outdoors. I’ve always found writing to be a process of digging deep within oneself, and that’s why I like it so much.

But in the end, I write because I feel a strong need to do so.

Sono nata e cresciuta a Roma, dove ho studiato giurisprudenza per capire che sono una persona migliore quando non indosso un tailleur. Ho lasciato la grande città per lasciare che il vento mi scompigliasse i capelli sulle alte montagne delle Alpi e presto ho scoperto che la mia passione per l’outdoor e scrivere di questa, poteva diventare un lavoro.

Ora collaboro come scrittrice, editor e creatrice di contenuti per diverse riviste e aziende del settore outdoor, e quando ho finito di lavorare, apro la porta della baita in cui vivo per sciare, correre, scalare o per andare a fare altre gratificanti attività come tirare il bastone al mio cane, andare a funghi o entrambe le cose insieme.

Sono molto curiosa, sempre con un occhio (e un piede) verso cosa c’è oltre. Ho sempre visto la scrittura come un modo di scavare a fondo, e questo è il motivo per cui mi piace.

Ma alla fine, scrivo perchè ne ho fortemente bisogno.
